Third-party notices
Effective 5 September 2026. Version 1.
Scope
Kanzai includes third-party software. The notices below apply to those components only. They do not place Kanzai itself under an open-source license or change its licensing model. These notices cover the locked JavaScript runtime dependencies and the macOS Apple Silicon Cargo dependency tree, including build dependencies as a conservative superset.
License texts and component inventory
Read the complete component inventory, copyright notices and license texts. The same file ships inside the desktop frontend. Versions and source references are recorded per component. Components may carry additional notices for bundled code. The inventory preserves those notices too.
MPL-2.0 components remain under MPL-2.0. Their unmodified source is available from the versioned source links in the inventory. No rights under those licenses are restricted by Kanzai’s EULA.
Fonts
The website ships six JetBrains Mono WOFF2 subsets and three Space Grotesk WOFF2 subsets. JetBrains Mono is credited to the JetBrains Mono Project Authors; its design is by Philipp Nurullin. Space Grotesk is credited to the Space Grotesk Project Authors and Florian Karsten. Both use SIL Open Font License 1.1. Full copyright notices and terms are supplied in JetBrains Mono’s license and Space Grotesk’s license. The app’s offline legal pages include the same fonts and notices.
Images, icons and external tools
The site’s favicon, touch icon, social preview and board illustration, and the app’s Kanzai logo and icon set, are treated as Kanzai assets. Repository source files show local rendering for the website assets. Kanzai’s branding is Kanzai’s own. These notices grant no license to it.
macOS frameworks, git, tmux, Python, curl, Claude Code and Codex are external prerequisites rather than packages distributed by this repository’s app bundle. Their own terms apply.
