A Claude Code UI that runs your agents from a kanban board.
Kanzai is a desktop GUI for Claude Code. Drag a card into Development and a Claude Code session starts on its own branch. Read the diff when it is done, then drag the card into Approved to merge it.

A screenshot of the Kanzai app. Two projects sit in the tab bar. The Petshop board runs Backlog through Done, three cards are in Development, the pane on the right shows the selected session's transcript, and the project assistant is asking permission to move three cards to Ready.
Claude Code runs in a terminal. Three of them do not fit in your head.
One Claude Code session in one terminal works well. Start a second and a third, and the work moves out of the tool and into your memory. Which terminal is waiting for an answer? Which branch is which? Is that diff finished, or still being written?
The review happens somewhere else. The merge is a manual step at the end, and you have to get the order right. Most of the time goes to keeping track, not to the code.
HOW KANZAI SOLVES IT
Every session on a card
Each Claude Code session belongs to a card. The board shows which agents are working, waiting, or ready for your review.
The real Claude Code
Kanzai runs the Claude Code CLI you already use, with your Claude subscription. No API key. Codex, Grok Build and Antigravity run the same way; OpenCode may need an API key for its provider. Read the transcript, or switch to the terminal.
Isolated by default
Every card gets its own session, worktree, and branch. Agents can change the same repo without stepping on each other.
Review without switching tools
Read the diff, comment on individual lines, and send all your feedback back to the agent in one go.
Merge on your terms
You choose the order of the merge queue. A card that has fallen behind shows how far behind it is, whether it conflicts, and a Rebase button. If something fails, Kanzai stops and shows exactly what made it in.
Pick up where you left off
On macOS and Linux, sessions keep running in tmux even when Kanzai is closed. Reopen the app and carry on.
HOW TO USE IT
Install Kanzai
Download it for macOS, Windows or Linux. It is free and needs no account. Have Claude Code installed and signed in.
Add your local repos
Connect one or more checkouts. Kanzai finds the branches and gives every task an isolated place to work.
Drag a card into Development
Write what you want done on a card. Drag it into Development and a Claude Code session starts on the card's own branch.
Review, then approve
Finished work waits in Review. Comment on lines to send it back, or drag the card into Approved and the merge queue merges it.

Give Claude Code a board to work from.
Run several Claude Code sessions side by side from one local board. Drag cards to start agents, reviews, and merges. Keep using the subscription you already pay for.
The button picks x86_64 for Windows and Linux. On arm64 hardware, take the arm64 build.
